We walk in the floodlight

ministry of the Spirit

who as matchmaker

points us to Christ's glory throne,

our charisma to be

his body on earth,

shining Christ forth

in grace gifts that recover

enemy territory;

holy hands laid upon

a rebelling world whose sideshows

twitch for hype

tongues speaking to God

of groans within creation, urgently

waiting for the day of adoption
